Quick Tip 3: Stinky Bottles?

If your baby’s bottles were left unwashed and are now stinky,
add baking soda to your bottle cleaning routine!

Baking soda is known to get rid of odor, and it’s all natural too! You can fill the stinky bottles with a mixture of soap, water and baking soda, shake the bottle with the nipple and cap, then let it sit for a few minutes. In most cases, even a quick wash will do the trick!

  1. I love baking soda! Well, not love-love, but I’m amazed at its versatility. I wish I knew this tip when we were still using plastic cups, Nicole, as stainless steel and glass cups are easy to clean. πŸ˜€

  2. i’ve tried using baking soda for cleaning purposes and it works but i haven’t tried using this for my baby’s bottles… i should keep this in mind in the event that i forget to wash his bottles right away.. πŸ˜€
